AVAILABLE PROGRAMS
The LEARNING DISABILITIES ASSOCIATION OF CENTRAL
NEW YORK, a not for profit agency, provides many services. For

EDUCATIONAL
CONSULTANTS
- Provide information
about Learning Disabilities (LD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and
related disorders.
Assist parents in understanding their child’s
learning disability.
- Assist parents in
accessing the appropriate services for their child’s educational
placement.
- Provide
information and referrals to tutors and community resources.
ADULT SERVICES
- Consultation
with adult consultant concerning education, housing and
finances.
- Assist clients
to understand their diagnosis. Assist clients to access
appropriate reasonable accommodations in school.
ADULT SOCIAL GROUP
- Emphasis is on life
and social skills.
- Social outings.
REFERRAL
SERVICE
